Animewise respects the intellectual property rights of artists, brands, and rights holders. We expect the same from anyone who submits, uploads, or publishes content through our store or services.

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe in good faith that content on Animewise infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to us. To help us process your request quickly, include the items below.

1. Identify the copyrighted work
   Provide a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.
2. Identify the infringing material
   Provide the exact URL(s) on Animewise where the material appears, plus any product name or screenshot that helps us locate it fast.
3. Your contact information
   Include your full name, company name (if applicable), email address, phone number, and mailing address.
4. Good-faith statement
   Include a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Accuracy and authority statement
   Include a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
6. Your signature
   Add a physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).

Counter-Notification (If Your Content Was Removed)

If you believe content was removed in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. We may forward your counter-notification to the reporting party as required by law.

1. Identify the removed material
   Provide the URL(s) of the removed material (or product) and describe what was removed.
2. Your contact information
   Provide your full legal name, address, phone number, and email.
3. Statement under penalty of perjury
   State that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
4. Consent to jurisdiction
   Include a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, an appropriate U.S. judicial district), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
5. Your signature
   Add a physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).

Repeat Infringer Policy

Animewise may terminate access for accounts that are subject to repeated valid infringement reports, or that repeatedly upload or publish content that violates intellectual property rights. The determination of repeat infringement may consider the nature, frequency, and severity of claims.
